The Indonesia Experience: Java Island
We’re taking you on an unforgettable journey through Java, where rich traditions, layered history, and striking landscapes come together. From the energy of its bustling cities to ancient temples, volcanic scenery, and quieter corners most travellers never reach, this experience is designed to show you a different side of Indonesia. Indonesia’s story is layered: shaped by colonial legacies, cultural resilience, and ongoing efforts for social and environmental justice.
Developed together with the Indonesia Tourism Board and PT. Wisata Sekolah, this tour will give you unique access to Indonesian perspectives, heritage sites, and grassroots initiatives. This itinerary invites you to witness, reflect, and engage, connecting history, culture, and sustainable practices in ways that few travelers experience.
“The Hybrid Tour was my first group trip and one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. I was surrounded by a wonderful group of people all willing to learn, grow, and have lots of fun! Our guides/facilitators were the best I’ve ever had. Plus, they know how to have a good time. Our talks with local activists were also invaluable. 10/10!” – Bess, USA
